Foreign Currency and GST
Payments in foreign currency will have the Australia Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10% applied to the transaction
Foreign Exchange Rates
The Australian Dollar (AUD) exchange is based on the National Australia Bank (NAB) credit card rate for foreign currency transactions rounded up to the nearest dollar.
The published value in AUD is not converted from the “Spot Rate” that is published by foreign exchange companies online.
Payments
Payments made in EUR, GBP or USD will require a 10% GST to be applied to the total. We will only accept payments in these currencies from within Australia to be delivered to an address in Australia.
Foreign Credit Cards
Payments made using VISA or Mastercard card in EUR, GBP or USD will attract a 2.5% processing fee.
Payments made using American Express or Diners Club will attract a 4% processing fee.
Online Payment Providers
We do not process foreign currency payment via online payment providers. We only accept payment in AUD through the online payment providers.
Freight
Domestic
CDA ProAV uses Sendle and Australia Post for domestic freight. Freight is calculated volume and not weight. Sendle and Australia Post have their own methods to calculate freight.
You may choose to collect the item from our offices in Alexandria, please give the friendly people at CDA enough notice.
You may also choose to arrange your own courier to collect the items that you have purchased.
International Freight
CDA ProAV does not charge for international freight provided the customer is prepared to wait on our standard delivery of 4 to 6 weeks.
If the item that you purchased is not in stock and it is required urgently, a freight cost can be negotiated with our logistics people.
